This is a speculative design thinking about the position of humans in the biosphere, because we live in an environment that we have conquered and transformed, and we don’t even fully understand the other roles in nature of the plants we treat as “pets”. So I want people to understand plants from another perspective, so as to understand more about the entangled life.

Zhenni Nie (Jenny) is an industrial designer with a passion for exploring and trying new things.
Her designs are often a response to herself and her surroundings. Areas of interest include but are not limited to sustainable design, electronics, photography and speculative design. She used to be a pragmatist who often thinks about solutions, and now she prefers to be a speculator who asks questions.
It will be her honor if her works can bring a different perspective to the audience.
